What is the difference between No Welfare, High Welfare, and Highest Welfare when they all require animals to die? Only human comfort, NONE protect the actual animals. The most humane, ethical, and honest Webster-defined "welfare" is NOT exploiting animals - not using, not wearing, not eating, not killing - animals. The only meaningful position is vegan, everything else is just how humans euphemize animals' required suffering and violent deaths: no human exploits animals because they honestly believe that NOT exploiting animals is UNethical or INhumane.
Can we do better
Can we do better

Is it possible for the human mind
To embrace the concept of
Being kind
To finally understand that
Hate and intolerance
Serve no purpose and make no sense
That compassion, caring and an open heart
Can draw us closer
Instead of apart
Why can’t the human condition
Be filled with love
Instead of ammunition

Animal Equality denounces cruelty in Spanish farms
I don’t scale animal suffering, it’s ALL unacceptable, thus why I’m vegan. However, regarding this investigation into Spanish “farms” by Animal Equality, exposing the continued absolute horrors inflicted on animals, I’m just going to put out there that Spain is rated HIGHER than the USA in “animal welfare”. Animal Equality has infiltrated farms to show what consumers don’t know, and the livestock industry hides. Animal Equality has investigated more than 170 farms since 2010. This year we present the evidence in September, collected from five Spanish pig farms during the months of May and June 2023.
In Spain there are regulations to protect (sic) pigs but there is a high rate of non-compliance; for example, they are subjected to painful procedures such as tail mutilation without anesthesia; additionally, the conditions of intensive exploitation cause many animals to die on farms or become sick and injured.
The evidence corresponds to the fattening stage that begins after weaning and shows the life of the pigs before reaching the slaughterhouse.
Investigators witnessed the diseases and injuries typical of these farms, such as lameness, infections in the sows’ teats, wounds with pus, swollen genitals, and prolapsed uterus and anus. Uterine prolapse is due to the pressure of pregnancies and births to which sows are induced for production; the same abdominal pressure causes the rectum to be pushed outwards, this can be in pigs and sows. Animals were also found with wounds on the backs, eyes, and legs, as well as lesions on the skin of the neck and shoulder.
Additionally, the housing conditions were also documented: muddy floors with worms, flies, bugs; corpses of rats and other pigs, including one in a drinking trough. The lifeless bodies of these animals were found in hallways, containers, and various spaces. It was common to see some pigs sniffing, licking, biting the ears, and abnormal growths in the stomachs of the dead.
It is important to know that what we document is not an exception but the rule, as we have documented in various investigations, which is why it is necessary to adopt a cruelty-free diet, opting for plant-based alternatives or for English version HERE.

Treat all others as you wish to be treated

And one day the spacemen came landed on earth
And decided humans were more trouble than they are worth
So the visitors wiped them out, one by one
And at the sane time , had some “fun”

Nothing more to say
Guess it’s not much “fun”

A scathing indictment of nonvegans, who won’t be vegan, because they’re scared of being treated like vegans are treated by nonvegans …
I thought this video was fascinating AND disturbing, and while vegans often minimize the abuses piled on them from non/antivegans, because it’s nothing like the abuses animals are forced to endure, I decided to share Emily’s video of WHY so many nonvegans absolutely loathe vegans, because it IS important and should be addressed.
As a vegan who has been active on social media, I, and manymanymany other vegans, have been on the vocal receiving end of antivegans: the scorn, disdain, and verbal abuses would not be tolerated if leveled at any other social justice community, but since so many people, as Emily proves with facts and studies, HATE vegans, few people are actually socially-condemned for their absolutely atrocious behaviour.
Vegans have been called “only marginally better than pedophiles” (imagine reading that, not only as vegans but also as victims of child abuse), worthless, should not exist, should be dead, should not have rights, are ugly/stupid/mentally ill/cult followers/liars, and on and on and on. I have personally seen all of these “unsolicited” claims: unsolicited meaning in response to vegan posts and threads where NO nonvegans were tagged or “invited”, just legitimate, factual statements exposing the anag death industry, where nonvegans felt so threatened, they piled on with their absolutely appalling, juvenile, and hateful behaviour/comments met with zero social accountability.
I find it particularly disturbing when people who identify as “human rights activists” treat vegan humans like garbage. Imagine pretending you care about human rights while dismissing the rights of millions because you can’t handle that vegans expose the horrific requirements of those who you eat.
And do remember, in Great Britain, (ethical) vegans are protected under the Equality Act of 2010. (Veganism is inherently “ethical” but the distinction is due in part to those who are NOT vegan by definition but – inaccurately – consider themselves vegan, for example, while only following a plant-based diet). As indicated in the article, “…there are veganphobes out there who can cross the line from unlawful discrimination into hate crime, and this is a serious problem. In 2020, The Times reported that, in the previous five years, the British police recorded a total of 172 crimes where vegans were the victims because of their veganism.”
And by the way, vegans ARE morally superior to nonvegans with respect to animals, this isn’t even a point worth debating, and if you’re a (nonvegan)vegan-apologist, stop spending gobs of time on this “issue” that doesn’t benefit animals at all: vegans aren’t vegan because they believe that veganism and nonveganism are morally “equivalent”, just own it and move on: focus on the actual animal victims and stop disruptively (and nonvegan’ly, because people who do this are normalizing nonvegan violence, giving approval to animal abuse) apologizing for “extreme/militant/violent” vegan behaviour, when what is ACTUALLY extreme, militant, and violent, is the bloody, unethical, and malicious cruelties and killings relentlessly inflicted on animals.

The Science of Why People Hate Vegans
Yes, people actually hate vegans enough that scientists are researching why. And the reasons may not be what you expect! In this video, we break down the findings of some of these studies. And I offer my personal thesis: if you bristle at the mention of veganism or even outright hate vegans, you…may just be a good person. We explore the social psychology of anti-vegan bias, the stereotyping & stigmatization of vegans, the self-righteousness of vegans, & what all of it has to do with the “meat paradox.” Plus, I share a surprising thread I found throughout the research: the polarization between vegans & non-vegans is fueled more by what we have in common than by our differences.
This article and video review the growing scientific field of study into why people tend to view vegans so negatively. Interestingly, the underlying drivers of anti-vegan attitudes may point more to promising commonalities than irreconcilable differences. As we look through the scientific literature, we explore such areas as:
- The widespread existence of anti-vegan bias
- The threat vegans pose to our identity, sense of self, and way of life
- That animosity towards vegans can actually be a sign that we share the same values and beliefs
- How vegans think they’re better than everyone (and how we may actually agree with them)
- How we tend to assume we’re being judged by one another (and defensively judge each other)
- That the more we agree with each other, the more we can resent one another
- How omnivores can empathize with the experience of vegans facing social stigma
- And, most importantly, the lessons we can all learn from this

Those who malign the compassionate and kind
Are devoid of a heart
And have a twisted mind
Our skies are empty
The skies are empty
Not a sound

Almost no birds
Bees nor butterflies
Around
At one time
Winged life abound
Now clouds and sun see nothing
When they look down
Just humans and all
That they bring
Our earth needs wings
And things that sing
Does anyone know
Where did this beautiful life
Go
Yay, caring doctors who eat their patients …

If you need to “understand calf anatomy” in order to preserve the calves’ profitability in your violent, destructive world of animals exploited for food in the death industry, as a doctor much less, then you grossly misunderstand ethics, decency, and empathy, as do all others who also support the death industry.
And painting the bodies of the victims is perverted.
How is the fact that NOT HARMING is always better than HARMING so challenging for you? Why do you defend incalculable suffering? Why do you struggle with nonviolence? What is wrong with you?
Shame on all of you.
And do remember that, according to the USDA, millions of calves – BABIES – are forced to violently die EACH YEAR in just the US.
USDA:
“Male dairy calves are used in the veal industry. Dairy cows must give birth to continue producing milk, but male dairy calves are of little or no value to the dairy farmer.”

Situational ethics in a world of self deception

Source: Feelin’ Vegan Instagram & Feelin’ Vegan Facebook
It is not your right – based on YOUR traditions, YOUR customs and YOUR habits – to deny animals THEIR freedom so you can harm them, enslave them and kill them. That’s not what rights are about. That’s injustice. There is no counter-argument to veganism. Accept it. Apologize for the way you’ve been living. Make amends and move forward.
ALL animal (ab)use, such as for food, fashion, entertainment, research, testing, education, god, ritual, etc., is exploitation.
ALL animal exploitation is abuse.
ALL exploited animals are victims whose suffering is required for all exploitation.

Anything you read in the dystopian genre is happening to nonhuman animals on Earth right now, and is, in fact, worse than anything any “imaginative” author can write. Look at that picture above. Although those crab victims are being exploited for research, since ALL animal exploitation is related and fuels other forms of animal exploitation, your cheese addiction enables crab imprisonment enables trophy hunting enables cat and dog consumption.
I once was told that the “scientists” who conduct research do so according to a “strict guideline of ethics”. Well, lets talk about that for a moment. In the US, approximately 100,000,000 animals are violated for testing/research yearly, and since approximately 95% of them are NOT “protected” by the Animal Welfare Act, their suffering is not even required to be reported.
Please note the below two images from the USDA Research Facility Annual Usage Summary Report
Under Column E (animals used in research / pain involved / no pain relief drugs administered) you’ll see animals who are “protected” by the Animal Welfare Act, but who must experience intentional pain nonetheless.
(Again, since only the animals “protected” by the meaningless Animal Welfare Act/AWA are reported, the 95% specifically excluded from the AWA and therefore NOT REQUIRED to be reported, “gift” all those “ethical researchers” zero accountability.)
So as I said in response, I’m not confident that people who intentionally inflict pain on animals, and who then intentionally restrict pain relief, and then who violently kill those same animals, have a really firm grasp of “ethics”.
Same with people who kill and consume animals, animals who are ALSO forced to suffer violation, pain, and unwilling/violent death.
So if you care about horseshoe crabs and the dystopia they are forced to exist in, maybe you should care about the animals you effortlessly sentence to the same disturbing hell. And even if you don’t care about horseshoe crabs, you still have no right to inflict animal suffering on ANY animal regardless of human-designed and human-biased words meant to suggest it’s “ethical”, “humane”, “godly”, “healthy”, “welfare’ing”.
And do take note: opposing using nonhuman animals for human animal research is NOT equivalent to being in favor of human suffering. Remember thalidomide and also, despite saccharin causing cancer in nonhuman animals, you can still legally buy and consume it regardless of all that “research” by “ethical scientists” who forced animals to violently suffer and then die from saccharin-caused cancer.
Imagine considering your species the “intellectually/morally superior” one and then committing these atrocities on completely different ones in the name of “intelligence” and “science” and according to “ethics”: if nonhuman animals are biologically similar enough to human animals to legitimatize testing/researching on them, then nonhuman animals are similar enough to human animals to make testing/researching on them unethical. Be the brain trust you boast to be and NOT violently harm other species trying to figure out stuff for your own.

Coastal biomedical labs are bleeding more horseshoe crabs with little accountability
Horseshoe crabs used to be everywhere. Millions of years before dinosaurs roamed the planet, each spring, the hard-shelled creatures gathered to mate in massive mounds along the beaches of the Atlantic coast. Later, migratory shorebirds like the robin-size red knot learned to fly up from South America to join them for a feast. The crabs’ eggs gave the birds the energy they needed to keep flying north to breed in the Arctic.
But humans began to want something from the crabs, too — their blood. In the 1960s, scientists discovered that the sky blue blood inside horseshoe crabs would clot when it detected bacterial toxins. Vaccines, drugs and medical devices have to be sterile before they’re put inside people. A better toxin-detection system meant less contamination risk for patients, so fishermen soon started collecting and selling the prehistoric animals to be bled.
A synthetic alternative was later invented and has since been approved in Europe as an equivalent to the ingredient that requires horseshoe crabs. But in the U.S., the blood harvest isn’t shrinking. It’s growing. Five companies along the East Coast — with operations in South Carolina, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia and Maryland — drained over 700,000 crabs in 2021. That’s more than any other year since officials started keeping track in 2004. Since then, the number of crabs bled by the industry has more than doubled. At least 80 million tests are performed each year around the world using the blood-derived ingredient.
As the industry has expanded, coast-wide regulation has been limited and the companies have become increasingly secretive. Records obtained by NPR indicate that in some states, fishermen paid by the bleeding companies have handled crabs in ways that research has shown to cause harm or have violated harvest laws without punishment. Meanwhile, the process of approving the alternative in the U.S. has stalled even as the number of birds in the sky has plummeted…
Depending on which state they’re harvested in, the crabs are either taken by hand from the beaches or pulled up from the bottom of the ocean with nets. Hundreds are piled on top of each other in boats, loaded into trucks and delivered to bleeding facilities. There, lab technicians pierce the crabs through their hearts and drain them alive, sometimes for eight minutes, which can deplete them of more than half their volume of blue blood. In Massachusetts, some of the bled crabs are then sold to be killed and used as bait. In states like South Carolina and New Jersey, the animals are delivered back to the fishermen, who return them to the ocean…
That makes the bleeding business unique among the industries it straddles. It’s an unusual fishery, because the animals are not sold to be eaten. It’s an atypical utilization of animals in medicine, since the crabs are not bled in the research stage, and they’re not warm-blooded. They’re not even crustaceans — horseshoe crabs are more closely related to scorpions than they are to snow crabs.

Your god is an awful lot like your satan…

Is this is why humans are so desperate to believe in “Satan” and “Hell”? Because as long as there is some evil realm of endless, unholy terror and pain, humans can blissfully, willfully, pretend that no matter what they do, they’re “good”, they’re “godly”, and they can tithe their way to heaven and a fake white Fabio-lookalike Jesus?
All I gotta say is, if you use religion to condone cruelty, intolerance, and/or hatred (and honestly – you people only exploit religion when attempting to justify bad beliefs and deeds, and you know it), you’re just using religion as confirmation bias and interpreting it to support/sanctify YOUR cruelty, intolerance, and hatred. Stop blaming God for your faults, He didn’t create animals, give them the capacity to suffer, experience pain and fear, and the desire to NOT die, only to will humans to cause such against TRILLIONS (including marine life) each year alone. I mean, jfc, what a violent and malevolent SatanGod you worship are.
And when people indignantly scream that I’m mocking their “religion”, you know what? YOU’RE mocking MINE. (And really, in what solar system am I supposed to respect ANY “religion” that, according to humans, REQUIRES incalculable violent suffering?!?)
The thing is, animals experience the horror and fear and pain of exploitation REGARDLESS of whether YOU blame god or another pro-killer calls it “humane” or another pro-killer calls it “regenerative”, etcetcetc. It’s all the same violence to the animal victims who are required to suffer it.
There are plants, and there is animal life, and you have a choice: least harm or maximum harm.
Which one is more godly and aligned with benevolence, compassion, and justice?
Which one is more evil and aligned with terror, violence, and suffering?
Which one is YOU?

We claim to be incredibly grateful for the planet and all of the life that God has created, yet we are destroying everything he made for us right in front of him. He created non-human animals and we say thank you to him by driving them to extinction and killing them by the trillions. We have even genetically modified his creatures, in essence playing God ourselves, because the creatures he created for us weren’t suitable for what we wanted from them. Furthermore, we go against God’s wishes by taking the milk from mothers that he designed specifically for their children.
Religious texts are often very ambiguous and of course open to interpretation.
One of the main passages that people use from the Bible to justify eating animals is “every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green planet.” – but this is often taken out of context as the passages goes on to read “only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood”.
In Genesis the Bible states: “And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.”. Amos 6:4-7 states: “Woe to those who stretch themselves upon their couches and eat lambs from the flock and calves from the midst of the stall. They shall be the first to be exiled.”.
Furthermore, Ecclesiastes 3:19 states: “For what happens to people also happens to animals—a single event happens to them: just as someone dies, so does the other. In fact, they all breathe the same way, so that a human being has no superiority over an animal.”.
Hell is described as a place of eternal suffering, torment and pain and yet all you have to do is watch slaughterhouse footage to see that they too are places of eternal suffering, torment and pain. For the animals, a slaughterhouse is Hell and no benevolent God or prophet could ever condone what happens inside them.

By Donny Moss
An animal rights organization in Israel has announced a groundbreaking investigative technique to help activists around the world expose the cruelty that animals endure inside of the secretive factory farms, trailers and slaughterhouses where they are raised, transported and killed.
The organization, Sentient, customized a small, disposable, camouflaged cameras that are affixed to an animal’s back by harmless glue and take streaming video from the point of view of the animal. By wearing the cameras on their backs, the animals are transformed into undercover investigators and whistleblowers.
According to Ronen Bar, the Executive Director of Sentient, the new investigative technique, dubbed “Camera on Animal,” helps to address the challenges faced by activists attempting to expose the dark underbelly of the animal agriculture industry and violations of animal welfare laws. ”As animal advocates worldwide face “Ag-Gag” laws and other hurdles, this novel approach – “Camera On Animal” – offers a creative, lower-risk approach to exposing the truth.”
During the first Camera On Animal, Sentient’s cameras captured dozens of hours of footage in Israel of the final hours of bulls, pigs and sheep. Bar says the footage reveals not only “the brutal reality inside of hidden and sealed facilities,” but also the harrowing journeys of individual animals who are wearing the cameras. He describes a calf who “somehow manages to turn around in the narrow slaughter line and climb over another calf in an effort to escape” and a bull who is “repeatedly electrified in the anus with a probe because he refused to move forward.”
Bar also describes a few moments of a pig’s journey in a transport trailer filled with other pigs. At one point, the pig pushes his way through the other pigs to get to metal slats on the side of the trailer in order to access fresh air and sunlight.
Bar hopes that activists will use this new investigative technique in campaigns targeting specific companies or industries. He also hopes that stories of individual animals will resonate among compassionate people who aren’t already living a cruelty-free lifestyle.
In order to share this tool with activists around the world, Sentient is launching a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. The Kickstarter page contains a video that explains more about the camera and process. According to Bar, the fundraiser will “enable us to develop the space of animal storytelling, turning the numbers into what they truly are — stories of sentient individuals.” Funds will be used to place 100 cameras on animals, unveiling their individual stories and effecting tangible change. To support the Camera On Animal campaign, please visit Sentient’s Kickstarter page.
Sentient is is an Israel-based animal rights organization that creates tools for undercover investigations worldwide. Activists or reporters with questions about the “Camera on Animal” technique can contact Ronen Bar: ronen@sentientworld.org
(FYI: for any who remember my rant in Vegans have been sharing slaughterhouse footage for eons but thank goodness nonvegan CCTV is now available to “protect” animals in slaughterhouses……….., the difference is that people aren’t using the above camera footage under the ludicrous guise of “protecting” animals so nonvegans can pretend that the existence of cameras in a place animals violently die, means animals don’t violently die. When any person supports the narrative, “CCTV protects animals in slaughterhouses!”, they’re giving nonvegans permission to consume animals by implying that animals are “protected” while violently dying, violent deaths that require suffering. It’s like saying that cats and dogs who violently die for the cat and dog meat trades are “protected” when their violent deaths are being filmed. Absolute nonsense. You can read more at the link.
On the other hand, Sentient’s campaign goal is strictly to demonstrate the individuality of animals, the suffering exploited animals experience, the fact that they feel terror and pain and do NOT want to die, and to educate nonvegans and stress the imperative of being vegan as the ONLY humane and the ONLY way to protect animals. And for the indifferent and privileged out there who don’t care, you still have no right to take others’ bodies, legality =/= morality. SL)

IMPORTANT: If one, or more, of your representatives is a religious extremist, do be sure to ask them, “WWJD?” And if the above image makes you angsty, click HERE to read the reasoning behind it, but in short, it’s because cow abusers like to advertise that, “9 out of 10 U.S. Olympians grew up drinking milk.” (They likely all drank water and ate vegetables, too ………………… )
DO TAKE NOTE: soy milk is recommended as a nutritional “dairy-alternative product” by the USDA.
ALSO: The cruel dairy industry and its greed and influence is repulsive, and how it abuses and violently kills animals, including infants, is proof, but for its supporters at the USDA’s My Plate, Eat Healthy site suggesting that soy milk is only included as nutritionally equivalent to cow’s milk because it is “fortified” while NEGLECTING to inform people that in the USA cow’s milk is only included because COW’S MILK IS ALSO FORTIFIED (NIH and US Dairy HERE) proves its deceit and manipulation as well.
DO ALSO ASK YOURSELF: Why, as an aging human with teeth, you perversely breastfeed from another species, causing mass suffering and violent death, and pretend it’s normal and natural? I mean, you won’t even taste your own species’ breastmilk, how ewwwwwy, and you have a meltdown if you see a human infant naturally breastfeeding from a human, like, hOw PoSiTiVeLy sCaNdaLOuS …..
UK: It is recommended that, according to NHS UK, because cow’s milk in the UK is NOT fortified, the gov’t recommends people supplement Vitamin D.

We knew Big Dairy wouldn’t take this lying down.
Back in March, the ADD SOY Act (aka H.R. 1619, the Addressing Digestive Distress in Stomachs of Our Youth Act) was introduced to the U.S. House of Representatives by Reps. Troy Carter and Nancy Mace with the intention of finally introducing soy milk to the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and directing the USDA to fully reimburse schools for the cost of the soy milk provided. Well, after USDA announced in February a potential ban on flavored milk in kindergarten through eighth grade to reduce added sugars in school lunches, Big Dairy-backed groups rallied Congress to keep low-fat flavored and whole milk in the NSLP.
Recently, on June 6, the House Education and Labor Committee approved the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act, which would allow low-fat flavored and whole milk to continue to be served in schools. More sugar-laden, artery-clogging cow’s milk for our nation’s children… but still no healthy dairy-free milk option provided… Coincidence? We think not!
That’s why we’re asking for one minute of your time to support tens of millions of lactose-intolerant children so they have access to nutritious soy milk in school lunchrooms. Please take 60 seconds to send your Senators and Congressperson a message to support the ADD SOY Act with the powerful, pre-written letter we’ve created for you (just click the button below – it’s easy!)

Greed is the motivation
All dollars and
No sense
It’s much more difficult to BE harmed than to NOT harm …

Source Gary Francione’s Animal Rights: The Abolitionist Approach
The “veganism is hard” is a myth started by the anag (animal agriculture) industry to continue indoctrinating a willfully ignorant billions-large population of humans who choose to participate in incalculable animal suffering. The “intellectually superior” humans desperately want to believe that violently using, commodifying, and killing animals is “humane” or “ethical” or based on “welfare” when there is nothing more humane, ethical, and true to welfare, than NOT exploiting animals. (And the same “intellectually superior” humans are unable to tell the difference between plant-based milk and milk stolen from suffering animals … )
Facts, not myths:
You cause animal suffering that you can EASILY not.
Harming animals does not benefit animals.
The actual definition of “humane slaughter” includes minimizing “unnecessary pain”, which basically establishes that “necessary pain” is inherent.
I’m still waiting for someone to share their “humane slaughter” footage that demonstrates animals willingly and peacefully being violently killed.
… and if you need to trivialize the exploitation of animals, exploitation that is ALL inherently abusive, as “humane/ethical/harvest/process/welfare/regenerative/etcetcetc”, you are euphemizing for YOUR comfort, not animals’ comfort: animals don’t benefit from human words that still require their suffering and violent death.
For those who experience great angst thinking about pigs becoming extinct, you don’t kill animals to prevent animals from being killed, and do remember how many species are extinct due to your animal consumption addiction as well as how many native animals are killed to “protect” the animals YOU then consume.
No human gets sick from NOT abusing animals.
God did not give animals the capacity to suffer, experience pain and terror, and the desire to NOT want to die and then will humans to cause such, but God DID give humans plants to eat in Genesis 1:29, so why blame God for your faults? Why do so many “christians” choose to believe in an evil and malevolent god that demands the violent butchering of trillions of animals EACH YEAR?
If you think it’s ok to abuse animals because some humans have abortions, you’re neither concerned with animals NOR humans beyond the fetal stage. (But do be honest: if you’re using abortion to validate your animal abuse, you’re not concerned with a fetus, you’d actually struggle to come up with ANOTHER reason to validate killing animals if abortion wasn’t available. It’s no different than people saying they’ll have abortions because YOU consume babies. In your insecure world of violence, death, and guns, you celebrate the availability of abortion as a shield to use against gun control, anti-racism, decency, and tolerance. You’re just a shitty human who won’t take responsibility for your shitty, destructive behaviour. It’s almost laughable that you want people to believe that you only eat violently abused animals because someonesomewhereatsometime had an abortion or you cannot admit racism exists or that gay people have the right to be wed for the same reason: because someonesomewhereatsometime had an abortion. GTFU, cowards, how many pregnant people and/or their “unborn babies” are killed because of a lack of gun control? How many pregnant people and/or their “unborn babies” are harmed because you can’t be bothered to wear a mask?)
Lions, and other predators, exist in a state of survival with no other choices. Humans do not and have. (And interestingly, the females – lionesses – do most the hunting, not the males.)
Cow abusers are always so quick to say that cows are happy to be milked (versus the need for relief, fear of punishment, or habit) but who experience zero emotion when being violated and killed.
My plant-based food does not require any disingenuous “humane” labels because plants are incapable of suffering.
Nobody grows crops JUST for vegans; animal consumers eat crops as do their animal victims.
Vegans minimize harm inflicted on animals. Animals are not required to die for crop harvesting. In a “vegan world”, crop casualties would diminish or be eliminated altogether.
84% of people were predominantly OMNIVORES; of the TOTAL 1313 participants, only 183 consumed a plant-based diet (for a study of “dietary habits” and NOT veganism) and the rest were vegetarians, ie., omnivores. In other words, 84% of mostly omnivore people on a diet, went off a diet.
But it’s vomitous that non/antivegans experience joy and fulfillment in what they believe to be maximum animal suffering.
Antivegans (subhumans who focus on and condemn vegans and NOT animal abuse), including “(pathetically laughable) carnivores” and fake doctors, all of whom deceive and manipulate and that desperately need to co-opt “vegan”, are motivated by hatred, insecurity, and self-doubt because nobody is forcing you to NOT abuse animals.
The people who AREN’T angry in the face of grave injustice, are concerning.
The belief that you can abuse and kill animals is “privileged”.
But yeah: minimizing harm > causing harm.
It’s sad I have to point that out.

Our species seems devoid of any semblance of an empathy chip

The fact of the matter is, it doesn’t matter how nice a life an animal has, the moment we exploit them for what is rightfully theirs and eventually take them to the slaughterhouse or to the yard to kill them, that is abuse. Animals don’t want bigger cages or larger barns, they don’t care whether or not they’re grass-fed, or organic. All the animals want is to be free, truly free. Not free-range, not free to pasture months of the year. Free to live their lives in their entirety, without fear of human inflicted pain, suffering or exploitation. Earthling Ed
Do remember that small farms are largely defunct due to the global demand for cheap flesh; while there are still small farms in existence, they are the exception, and even though everyone in the multiverse claims to be opposed to factory farms, given their dominance “producing” 99% of animals consumed in the USA and >75% according to one source and >90% according to another, of animals consumed globally, each year, someone’s lying. Case in point: I recently came across a person who vehemently defended his position as being opposed to factory farms … while admitting he eats factory-farmed animals. This is why a welfarist position is meaningless: it requires animal suffering and death, and for many humans is 100% verbal and includes 0% actual concern and action FOR THE ANIMALS. (And the discrepancy in factory-farmed numbers is likely because the numbers of animals violently killed globally each year is so mind-numbingly high, it’s difficult for humans, the “intellectually superior species”, to count.) Veganism is a call to renounce the core practice of our culture—reducing beings to mere harvestable and abuseable commodities—and to practice, in every aspect of our lives, its opposite: mindfulness, inclusiveness, equality, and respect. – Dr. Will Tuttle
