Woman Horrified to Find Chicken … in Her Chicken

An Arizona woman was so distraught after finding a chicken foot in a package of chicken breasts at Safeway that she contacted the media. It’s called a foot, but take a look at those appendages and those little nails—it resembles a human hand. Maybe the real horror is that we eat other living beings who have feelings and body parts just like ours.

Chickens are arguably the most abused animal on the planet. In the United States, more than 7 billion chickens are killed for their flesh each year. Oh, and there may be arsenic and feces in chicken. Now that’s something to be really upset about! The best way to make sure that no chicken feet—or any other animal body parts—are in your food is to go vegan. Here’s how in three easy steps!

perhaps now she will
stop and pause,

to buy or eat
any being with
fins, feathers,
feet or claws.

if that what is what it takes to make people wake up to what they’re doing, I’m glad it happened to her-I just hope to live to see the day when animals will get the respect they deserve –

Why cannot people realize it’s not food but sentient beings? Why should it take a foot? Baffles me. Thank you.

Humans externalize too much. They believe in God but reject spirituality, separating the two. They eat dead animals but do not have the ability to see beef is a dead cow, chicken is exactly what it says, chicken a dead bird. Pork a dead pig; etc. It is as if something is blanked-out in their mind. They see dead fish on the fish counter but the ignition in their brains are not firing off at the same time or something because they don’t see it as it is…a dead fish… I never understand how people can buy a live lobster knowing its alive then throw the poor thing in a pot and boil it to death. I am dumbfounded by the human race and often times am embarrassed to be one. The only time I feel any solidarity is with fellow vegans and animal lovers. Sort of makes it a bit easier to get threw life on Terra 3.

Wisely-said, it is a complete disconnect, something I, too, will never understand. Thank you for your comments, I agree.
