A $2,500 reward is offered for an arrest and conviction in a terrible case of animal abuse.
According to Gina Gnepp with City of Sacramento Animal Care Services, the owners of a small terrier mix contacted the shelter last month, saying their dog was badly hurt. Somebody had attached the end of a leash to the dog’s genitals.
Veterinarians at the shelter operated on the dog, named Geezie, and he is recovering. Now the shelter is hoping for some tips that will help bring Geezie’s abuser to justice.
An animal rescue group called Red Rover put up the $2,500 reward. Tips can be called in to City of Sacramento Animal Care Services at (916) 808-7387.

The depravity to which humans stoop is never ending, the statement being made on the human condition in today’s society and the lack moral ethics is deplorable and unacceptable. Barbaric acts of extreme cruelty inflicted upon innocent animals on a continuing basis reflects the ever increasing growing mindset of the weak and the cowardly.
Just as bullies control the classrooms, schoolyards, streets and homes across the country by imposing their lack of self worth and self esteem upon those weaker than themselves in an attempt to bolster their own egos..this is being done to the animals who are unable to defend themselves. An extremely sad statement on the escalating human condition seen in towns and cities, in neighbors backyards and around the world in every country. Sick individuals….and it is not getting any better.

Karma does not happen, scumbags don’t believe in hell, authorities often do not act, courts often only pay lip service to punishing animal cruelty cases, and perpetrators keep on perpetrating. Heartless individuals can commit the most horrendous crimes against non-humans often with impunity. We sign petitions and berate the miscreants, but to no avail. Just when we think it can’t get any worse, along comes another report of terrible cruelty and we just despair.
Perhaps all who are friends of animals should take an interest in politics. The Netherlands has an animal rights party in their parliament, the first in the world! I believe that the majority of people do not want animals to be treated cruelly, but what can they do about it? If there is a party whose political agenda is to represent animals in government, I think many people would support it, not just animal rights activists. So, what are we waiting for?

great idea about an animal party in politics, very good! i have to disagree about karma because it does happen. there are universal laws and i know that at the right time for that to happen it will. its never when we want it to because we really know nothing, theres much more to life than just us. something more wiser.
