About Indraloka

We provide heaven on earth for animals that would otherwise have been euthanized or slaughtered.

Mission

Indraloka Animal Sanctuary is named after the Sanskrit “heaven for the Gods”, and is founded on two principles:

1) the earth herself and all life are sacred
2) we are all related

Indraloka provides “heaven on earth” for animals that would otherwise have been euthanized or slaughtered. In the process, we support rescue groups when they have nowhere else to turn for an otherwise unadoptable animal. We also educate the community, especially children, on kindness to other animals, the earth, and ourselves.

Overview

Indraloka is a place of peace, learning, healing, and joy for animals of all species, including humans. We have over 150 non-human animals in our care. They teach lessons in enlightenment, hope, joy, health and dying well daily.

Description

We provide lifetime safe sanctuary to animals in need, and they offer the same to us. We also offer consulting services for individuals or organizations that are working with animals that face extreme behavioral or emotional issues such as fear and aggression.

We love to have visitors! We are open for visits and tours by appointment. If you would like to visit or volunteer, message us, call us at (570) 763-2908, or email us indra@epix.net Unfortunately, we have no facilities for more dogs, and are at capacity with cats. If you know of a dog or cat who needs a forever home, please consider keeping them. We can help you address behavioral issues you may be concerned about.
