Ban the Tiger Trade: One Quick Petition

The Premier of China, Wen Jiabao has publicly stated that he is committed to saving the wild tiger. (Read his comment – Nov 2010.) However, his government is allowing trade in tiger skins from tiger farms and skins taken before poaching was outlawed. This trade is acting as a smokescreen for skins taken by killing wild tigers. If China does not stop this trade, the wild tiger is doomed. See how they obtain the tigers.

I appeal to Premier Wen Jiabao to send a clear message to his government, calling for an end to all tiger trade within China. This is to include a call for a zero tolerance policy applied to all trade of all parts and derivatives of tiger and other protected Asian big cats, from all sources.

AM SICK TO DEATH OF THE GREEDY HUMAN BEING THINKING THEY CAN OWN A TIGER TO DO WITH WHAT EVER THEY WISH. TIGERS ARE WILD BEAUTIFUL CREATURES WHO ARE A GIFT FROM GOD TO GRACE THE EARTH AND LIVE THEIR LIFE AS WAS INTENDED. NO WAY IN THIS WORLD WERE THEY PUT HERE FOR ANY PERSON TO CLAIM AS THEIRS. THEY CAN NOT BELONG TO ANYONE AND CHINA SEEMS TO THINK THEY CAN DO WHAT EVER THEY LIKE WITH ANIMALS AND WHY? THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR ANIMALS AND THEY NEED TO CHANGE THE WAY THEY THINK !
