Liam Neeson: animal cruelty is an “integral part” of his life “experience” …

Liam Bridles at Horse Bill | From New York Post

Liam Neeson might be going head to head with Alec Baldwin over Manhattan’s horse carriage industry. The Irish-born actor wrote a letter to the City Council in response to the proposed bill to ban the buggy business, according to the Irish Echo. “As a horse lover and rider, I am deeply disturbed by the unnecessary and misguided political and extreme rhetoric against the horse-drawn carriage industry,” the letter stated. “As a proud New York resident, I have personally enjoyed the beauty of Central Park on a daily basis for many years, and these horses are an undeniable integral part of that experience.” Neeson may have to face off with the 30 Rock star at the legislation hearing on Jan. 30. Baldwin, who believes the horses are suffering, once compared the “tradition” of horse drawn carriages to the “tradition” of drug dealers and public intoxication. The vegetarian has been an avid protester against the use of the four-legged creatures.

Liam thinks animal cruelty is okay as part of his life “experience”. Maybe Liam should haul people around all day in dangerous temperature variants, suffer from injuries and poor health, and then shipped and slaughtered. Indeed, Liam, how about you think of the HORSES’ EXPERIENCE?

Liam Neeson To Be Hunted By Wolves In Alaska | From Ecorazzi
Sure, Liam Neeson may have battle against the Caped Crusader in Batman Begins, but let’s see him handle a pack of wolves.

Deadline is reporting that Director Joe Carnahan has received a green light to start production on his original screenplay “The Grey”. The story follows a crew of oil-rig roughnecks led by Neeson and left stranded by a plane crash right in the hunting zone of a pack of rogue wolves on the frozen Alaskan tundra.

“The wolves have a territorial range of 300 miles, and they will run you out if you cross that,” says Carnahan. “If you’re within 30 miles of their den as is the case here, they will try to kill you. It’s simple arithmetic, but it creates an opportunity for one of those man vs. nature movies I love like Deliverance and Touching The Void.”

Many in the Deadline comments have called “bullshit” on this statement — saying that it’s a massive exaggeration of a wolf pack’s nature. Others hilariously declared that Sarah Palin was a likely ghost writer on the script. Either way, I can’t see this film being a great vehicle for wolf conservation programs. Look for it sometime late next year.

What can you do?  Boycott Liam Neeson.  Don’t see his movies or rent/buy/share them: show that YOUR “experience” doesn’t include animal cruelty.

i suppose mr neeson would think it cruel for michael vick to no longer be involved in dog fighting as it was an “integral” part of his life.

and those who commit genocide…is that an integral part of life that they should be allowed to continue?

this planet will continue to be a stinkhole unless kindness, compassion and decency become integral parts of the human experience

Well that burst my bubble about Liam, he will never be sexy to me again, you have to be beautiful on the inside as well as the outside, didn’t expect him to be so ignorant and shallow. I have faith that Alec Baldwin will demand Liam to learn or suffer consequences. This Peta video is well done for the carriage horses. Too bad HSUS didn’t follow through when they were needed in this campaign.
