Do You Know Me? I’m a Sociopath and Your Animals Are Not Safe

Editor’s Note: Oh, fabulous, the morally indignant are poking their righteous heads out of the holes and condemning those who “dare” verbally assault the human garbage who abused the cat. Give me a break: the victim is the cat and the cat’s family, yet when you wax offense at the people who exercise their protected speech to voice censure of the trash who harmed the cat, you do nothing but ignore the victims while supporting the abuser. Had Lola been a human, you’d be verbally roasting the abuser, too. Congratulations for endorsing speciesist, abusive behaviour, with such radical support such as yours, animal rights will never be realized.

One more point: if you are not vegan, neither your righteous bellowing nor your verbal assault are anything but pointless, hypocritical hot air.  Sixty billion Lola’s are tortured and murdered annually, in despicable, obscene manners, inflicting agony, fear, and death upon innocent, sentient animals, needlessly.  Don’t believe me? I know, it’s easier to ignore me than to accept the truth.  Watch Meet Your Meat and EARTHLINGS.  And remember that in some countries the people eat cats.  And dogs.

This CCTV footage captures the moment a middle-aged woman picks up a cat – and drops it into a wheelie bin.

The grey-haired woman, aged around 50, is filmed stroking tabby Lola on a wall outside a house on Brays Lane in Coventry at around 8pm on Saturday.

But she then suddenly grabs the four-year-old cat by the scruff of the neck before throwing it into a wheelie bin and slamming the lid closed. She then calmly walks away.

Terrified Lola was trapped in the bin for 15 hours before her owners Stephanie Andrews-Mann and husband Darryl finally found her the following morning.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Footage of the attack was captured by a CCTV camera which the couple use to monitor the front of their home.

They have now posted the video on YouTube and Facebook in a bid to track down the culprit.

Darryl, 26, a mobile phone repair man, said: ‘I’d like to know how she would feel if she was stuck in a bin for 15 hours without food or drink.
‘I came down to feed Lola on Sunday morning but couldn’t find her anywhere.

‘It was really hot day and outside and I searched nearby alleyways but suddenly heard a tiny meowing coming from the bin.

‘I looked inside and I found her in the bin, she was terrified and covered in her own mess.

‘At first I thought she’d somehow climbed inside the bin herself but when I checked the CCTV I was gobsmacked to see some woman had done in deliberately.’

Darryl lives with Stephanie, 24, a customer services worker with Ford and her eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, Chloe.

Stephanie said: ‘I find the entire thing sickening. I cannot believe someone would do this to an innocent family pet.

‘Lola was a rescue cat and was wary of people when we first got her.

‘She has a lovely disposition and really wouldn’t hurt a fly. This is what makes the attack on her so shocking.

‘I really want to find the woman who did this to her, she must be stopped.

The couple installed CCTV outside their home two years ago after their car was repeatedly knocked by careless drivers.

Darryl and Stephanie have put the 1.27 minute clip on YouTube in a bid to track down the woman, which has shocked internet users.

Web user Robert Fletcher commented: ‘The cat was okay, found shortly afterwards, but there’s a mass hunt to find out who the old lady is.
‘If you know the woman, get in touch with like the police.

‘Actually not the police, probably the RSPCA. Yeah them.

‘There’s obviously a massive outcry and hunt on to find the lady who did it.’

Lynsey Skinner, wrote: ‘Oh my god steph this is insane. Someone must know who she is? ‘Have you spoken to your neighbours about it? Crazy and cruel. ‘I hope you do report her and she is caught.’

The RSPCA and West Midlands Police are now investigating the incident.

A police spokeswoman said: ‘The cat was left in the bin for 15 hours but emerged unhurt.

‘The RSPCA were informed and the investigation into the incident will be led by them, as it is a matter of animal cruelty.

‘The police will support the RSPCA’s investigation and are currently collecting CCTV of the incident.’

I am SO glad the cat is ok….but it is SO important that all pets be kept indoors! If you have a cat that wants to go outside, there are products you can buy that let’s your cat play safely in the yard, but is kept ‘fenced’ in…from top to bottom! In this day and age, there are too many people that love to hurt animals because they are ‘helpless’ and can’t tell anyone ‘who’ hurt them. PLEASE keep all pets indoors if you want to avoid such unnecessary animal abuse!!!
This woman needs to be caught. This is a very sick and twisted individual who needs to be prosecuted.

It makes me sick to see this type of person doing their dirty-work! I insist that someone post the end to this story when that woman is captured and charged with animal cruelty. I want to know exactly what her reason for doing this (in HER mind) was. There is NO EXCUSE for anything remotely like this to be done to Lola or ANY animal. They can’t defend themselves with speech to tell who this woman is. God I hope this woman doesn’t take care of elderly parents or a mentally disturbed person or someone who is confined to a wheelchair. I fear for their safety and for all other animals in the area. Please don’t rest until this person is arrested. I won’t sleep for weeks after viewing this…

I agree with Chrissy (above) pets should be kept indoors to avoid the many things that can happen to a dog/cat if they are left to roam free. This is a perfect example of how an innocent and friendly animal can be taken advantage of. If this can happen in public what is happening behind closed doors. Please keep your pets safe, they don’t know right from wrong and can’t help themselves. I’m very happy that Lola is safe but that lady has to be caught and punished for her actions. Maybe that will make others think twice before attempting to hurt an innocent animal.

Why do you keep your cat outside next to a busy street? I DO NOT condone what that crazy B—H did, but do not understand why you would keep your precious companion outside. Maybe you should rethink that as seeing what could have been the death of your companion. You can not trust the world to be kind and as the one who rescued this precious gift, you are responsible for what’s happens to them. Sorry 😦 but it’s the way I feel. Hopefully tabby will be safe from harm indoors from now on. If you can not keep the cat in, maybe you should rehome tabby to someone who can keep them inside. If it had been a really hot day, no good would have come of this. Just something for you to think about. Blessings to you

omg, what a mole of a woman or what….the street looks really busy and I doubt I would let my cat out if i lived there to be honest, I certainly wouldn’t let it out now…Why would anyone do such a thing, and for a woman to do it, we expect women to be more compassionate towards animals, this bitch needs help she is a mental case…and 15 hours, the poor little darling..who filmed it????and why wasn’t the footage looked at a lot sooner, strange.

Sorry you make think im mean, but why have a cat if you already know that there is a chance it will be harmed….this is not fair on the cat..maybe they should move somewhere which is more suitable, as it appears that this cat, and maybe they have had others, is simply not safe….I feel for the cat not the owners….

Tanya just beware you may have committed an offence by revealing this persons details, and actually inciting harm against her. Let the law deal with this person and not vigilante groups whom (may) have deemed themselves deliverers of retribution

It’s public knowledge, Elephant, and nowhere did she “incite harm”. Please refrain from the inflammatory rhetoric, the only one “inciting” is you.
