URGENT: Speak Out for Cats Entombed Alive in Belarus

BACKGROUND | SOURCE PETA

Officials in Minsk, Belarus, have reportedly entombed hundreds of stray cats in the basements of apartment buildings that are being sealed to keep out rodents. According to media reports, area residents are traumatized by the anguished cries of the trapped and dying cats. Forcing animals to die from starvation or dehydration is extremely cruel and unsanitary. Carcasses will cause buildings to smell, upsetting occupants and neighbors while attracting more rodents to the area!

Please urge Minsk officials to free any trapped cats. Advise them that placing multiple rags soaked with ammonia in basements will drive out all animals because they hate the smell. After 24 hours have elapsed, entry points can be safely sealed. Thank you, and please forward this alert widely!

SAMPLE LETTER

Dear Honorable Batura, Honorable Kukharev, Honorable Avramenko, Honorable Markov, and Honorable Yuditskii:

Please Free Entombed Cats From Sealed Basements!

I was shocked to learn that cats in Minsk are being inadvertently entombed in basements when the buildings are sealed to keep out rodents. Forcing these animals to die from starvation or dehydration is extremely cruel and unsanitary. Carcasses will cause buildings to smell, upsetting occupants and neighbors while attracting more rodents to the area.

Please free any trapped cats. Placing multiple rags soaked with ammonia in basements will drive out all animals (they hate the smell). After 24 hours have elapsed, entry points can be safely sealed.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent appeal.

Hi, The link provided is not linked to the petition but to the list of petitions. The petition itself cannot be found. Regards,

It may be suggested by some books that it is not a sin to kill an animal, but it is written in our own hearts – more clearly than in any book – that we should take pity on animals in the same way as we do on humans. ~ Leo Tolstoy ~

Hi, Andres. Thank you so much for letting me know. I was informed of this yesterday (I don’t know why PETA removed the alert), and I changed the post to one about entombed cats. Please ignore the link you received and click on the alert directly from Our Compass to take action for the cats. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Animals destroyers do not kill only animals, they kill them themselves and their next generations as well. They are suicide, self-murderers. They easily betray their own children’s destiny exposing them open to attack in their future, especially grandchildren making them answer for their parents’ non-compliance with the Laws of Nature where we live IN, – through physical or mental deseases, sudden accidents, etc.
Existing in one and the only Earth magnetic field, of energy & information concept, we cannot get rid of ITS reaction being of boomerang origin… My condolence !

Stop making common sense people suffer for animal disregard as our COMMON Nature beings.
