Are these sheep still alive? This is just downright torture and something I don’t agree with that at all! They ought to be walking around in a lush green field and not crammed in a boot where there’s hardly enough room for one of them!
These poor animals will be dead of suffocation before they even could be slaughtered as they are supposed to be alive for the sacrificial slaughter at home aren’t they? I don’t know much about Islam and it’s traditions, but I truly believe this is one tradition that they could do away with!!

My housekeeper is Tunisian and is so shocked by these images. The Koran forids cruelty to animals in any form. She ask forgiveness to Allah when she has to kill even a fly and just 2 days ago to kill a snail in my garden! She says TRUE Muslims DO NOT do this do animals; the Prophet states that animals MUST be treated kindly and with respect even in their last moments of life which must be almost instanteous and as painless as possible and NOT in sight of other animals awaiting their turn…..
Islam is like Christianity, there are many ‘branches’ of this religion…..so so sad……
