Real-Life Fox And The Hound Best Friends Will Melt Your Heart
Source BuzzFeed Animals
This is the cutest friendship in the history of friendships. The lucky photographer who knows this pair is planning to release a children’s book.
Meet Tinni (the dog on the left) and Sniffer (the fox on the right).
They are BEST FRIENDS who live together in the NORWEGIAN FOREST.
Photographer Torgeir Berge is Tinni’s guardian and has watched the development of his dog’s incredible relationship with this wild fox.
He and his writing partner Berit Helberg are planning a book for children and adults full of fairy tales and Berge’s beautiful photos.
Here’s some more information about the upcoming book, in English!
The author and the photographer agree that some of the proceeds of the book will be donated to an organization that combats fur practices that harm animals like Sniffer.
As Helberg writes, “in this way [we] can be the voice of the animals.”
One thing is abundantly clear: Sniffer and Tinni LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH.
They have similar interests (traipsing, jumping, stick carrying, hanging out with each other).
Berge explains that while Tinni and Sniffer might seem like an unlikely duo, they are actually very much the same.
And anyone who looks at these pictures can see the affection and understanding that they share.
If only humans could all be as kind and accepting as this pair.
And when you’re the best of friends, the rest of the world stands still.

The photos are so beautiful of these two incredible friends. I have no doubt this book will be one that everyone who loves animals will want to add to their collection. To even imagine animals such as this precious fox being kept on a heinous fur farm, breaks my heart. They suffer their entire unnatural lives, only to be cruelly killed for their fur, by anal electrocution or some other equally sickening method. Steel traps are also another plague upon animals like foxes, beaver, coyotes, and others. I question the heart of anyone who could hurt animals like these for the purpose of sport, fur, or a so called trophy.

Thank you for your comments, Marie, I completely agree. The fur industry is my most hated exploiter.
