If you truly believe that ALL life matters, you would work against this.

This is what they mean by “free range”. Equally disgusting as cages if you ask me.

Go Vegan.

Karen, That is easily my favorite poem you have written by far!! Its beautiful!! Do you mind if I post it? Giving you credit of course lol its just so beautiful and true I would love for my friends to read it! Stacey that pic says it all if someone can look at that pic and STILL eat eggs or chicken then they are unreachable and have no hearts or conscience

None that I know of, but please consider going vegan and not supporting this business if you are not already. Thanks, Christine.

It’s outrageous. The stress that those poor birds have to live through… completely unnatural and cruel. Thank you for being so passionate about this (as always). We need more people who can see the truth for what it is.

Thank you, too, Monique, you are an amazing and compassionate individual! (And I agree, it truly is completely cruel and barbaric, these pictures certainly tell a tale, and it’s not a good one.)

    I thought free-range meant outside?

Hi, Tanya! It does, but there is no regulation of the type of “definition”. In other words, a producer could indicate “free range” without allowing access to the outdoors, at least in the US. And for those who do allow access, there, again, is no limitation. Even as little as five minutes could satisfy any free-range definition. Does that make sense?

I always thought that free range meant access to outside- I didn’t realize that free range can actually mean different things. I guess there’s no guarantee as to how the animals are raised. That’s definitely scary.

Sorry for the confusion, it does mean access to the outside, it’s just that there is no regulation to prove that “producers” are allowing the animals to the outside. Without the regulation, it can mean anything. And even with regulation, there is no limit on how much time an animal has to be outside. So it really is scary! Thanks for your comments, Tanya.

Horrific! I envision a planet where there is reverence for ALL life. The more photos like this are circulated, the faster people will wake up, especially if they know, that in addition to the outrageous cruelty, animal protein causes inflammation in the human body and all these billions of purpose-bred animals are adding to the toxic overload on the environment. There is NO reason to be eating the eggs, milk or flesh of animals. There is an abundant variety of colorful, nutritious, delicious plant foods to eat. We are herbivores with flat, grinding teeth and relatively short intestines. Vegan cuisine is fabulous.
