After a two-year hiatus, Iceland has resumed its illegal slaughter of endangered fin whales this month — and plans to kill up to 184 of them this year alone. Despite diplomatic sanctions imposed by the U.S., Iceland also continues to slaughter minke whales and to export whale meat and products to Japan. NRDC is calling on Interior Secretary Sally Jewell to step up the pressure by targeting Icelandic companies with ties to the whaling industry for tough economic sanctions. Make your voice heard!

in nanoseconds our cyberspace world goes by,
so why do animals have to die.
being hunted down by the troglodyte
known as modern man.
how much more of this can the
compassionate world
stand?
