ALF Destroys 200 Fur Traps in Ontario

“As of March 2013 we have removed and destroyed approximately 200 fur traps in Ontario. The traps were snares and Conibears intended to murder beaver, rabbits and other innocents. Tragically we were too late for two rabbits and one raccoon, whose bodies and internal organs had already been eaten into by snares. We will be forever haunted by our memories of their bodies, we will forever continue removing traps and we encourage others to get in the bush and help smash the fur industry. Look for tell tale signs of traps and trap lines; flagging tape tied to branches, repeated tracks entering the bush, and poles or sticks protruding from bodies of water especially near beaver lodges, where trapping is frequent. Join the burgeoning ranks of trap saboteurs!

Keep up the good work. I hope someday these people who abuse animals get what they deserve. Shame on the Canadian Government for allowing these snares and for allowing the annual clubbing of seals. With good wishes, Maria O Donnell

GREAT NEWS……the evil sick b’s who use these vile, barbaric contraptions, should be forced to run through a darkened field with them in….let’s see how they’d like to experience the fear and agonising pain they are happy enough to dish out for greed…how any human can be so cruel is beyond me..shame on all these lowlife scum, (how I hope they get their payback). PLEASE CARRY ON WITH YOUR EXCELLENT WORK….THESE BEAUTIFUL, INNOCENT ANIMALS NEED YOU.

Suprised there is not a terrorist network to kill or snipe people that set these awful traps. That may make a fur asshole think twice before going out on a hell mission.

The unspeakable atrocities committed against innocent creatures great and small in the name of greed must end. Animal rights must trump these egregious human wrongs!!

Thank God there are still those who have souls, and are still connected to the life energy of other beings on this planet, and have the courage to fight against those whose ONLY motive is greed and profit. If I knew how to join ALF, I’d join them instantly!

Bravo ALF!! Trapping should be illegal — it’s a throw-back from the dark ages! Animals suffer more in traps than another other means of death. They are terrified, suffer from dehydration, starvation, exposure to elements and predators; they are psychologically suffering from the separation from their young and their family; finally they meet with a brutal death.

WELL SAID DUANE. BUT, YOU KNOW THEY ARE THE WORST COWARDS OF ALL. THEY WOULD NEVER CONFRONT ANYTHING THAT COULD HARM THEM.

You are most likely right. I am sure the trappers are coward assholes…and low IQ too. Still I bet a few snipe bullets to those fuckers would slow down the trapping trade. If I were a trapper, I would be looking over my shoulder.

On a different note, I always wondered why the Arab countries who consider cows sacred didn’t go after beef slaughter plant workers…kind-of like abortion doctors get targeted.

I think one day humans will no longer eat meat. We are in canibal type times and I am ashamed of humans who eat meat. Most do it innocently without really knowing what is going on. EDUCATE OTHERS is the key. Even if you get one person to change, you have made a big difference. Carry on Lyndie!!

Thank you, these traps are the ultimate torture chambers for these animals. It is beyond cruel and so happy to hear so many have been removed. We need to help protect the animals we share this earth with.

What happens to the destroyed traps? Is it possilbe the trapper could rebuild them? Be nice to put a tracking device on a trap that goes back to the home of the offender to find where he lives…and then…

Awesome work guys. Should set up a fund that we all donate per trap destroyed. Document on video. Then we need to destroy the assholes who set the traps!
