TAKE HEED, and beware all religious leaders like THE POPE who eat animal flesh, or dairy products, or eggs while professing to be doing God’s work.
Your sacrilegious deeds of openly condoning and supporting the completely unnecessary insidious cruelty, torture, and mass murder of God’s precious creatures throughout the world make you guilty of the WORST kind of cardinal SIN.
Do religious leaders who have an affinity for devouring the flesh of animals REALLY BELIEVE that any God worthy of being worshipped would arbitrarily and cruelly authorize the worldwide HIDIOUS TORTURE AND MASS MURDER of precious and beloved animals so that hundreds of millions of misinformed and delusional humans are able to eat their flesh, dairy products or eggs?
Do religious leaders who use their throats as garbage cans and their stomachs as graveyards for the decaying flesh from God’s precious beloved creatures REALLY BELIEVE that condoning and supporting the worst kind of torture and MASS MURDER of animals will be rewarded with kindness, love, and nirvana in their next life?
The Bible is filled with ambiguous scriptures *written by men* for the benefit of people, not defenseless vulnerable animals.
Deceptive self- serving verses that cleverly appeared in the Bible over 2000 years ago for the sole purpose of making it seem as though God authorized man to torture and murder precious irreplaceable animals in order to provide animal flesh, dairy products, and eggs for people throughout the world to eat.
ALL MIGHTY GOD, who created the heavens and the earth and all the creatures that dwell here, cannot be manipulated, and will not be a partner blind to false religious interpretations.
Because ALL ANIMALS GO TO HEAVEN AND MOST HUMANS GO TO HELL, and because there are NO factory farms or slaughterhouses in Heaven now might be a good time FOR RELIGIOUS LEADERS to attempt to regain their covenant with God by changing their eating habits, and recommending to everyone in their congregations to do the same, or together suffer the ill-fated consequences of their DECEITFUL deeds.
Which may very well include eating FLESH in the slaughterhouses of HELL, where ONLY CANNIBALS ARE ABLE TO SURVIVE!!

I do not think it is true that people who eat meat will go to hell. In order for a sin to be a mortal one the person has to beieve it is wrong but will commit it anyway. This is not the case with people who have been brought up to think eating animals is OK. Futhermore that web site should not be posted IMO since it is so horrible, but I imagine those people are in hell since they were so evil.

I respect that you are a vegan, and I respect your fight for animal rights, but this article below is inaccurate. The bible over and over again tells how God calls for sacrifices of animals and that it is not a sin to comsume meat. I think the article says the bible is written by man to be self serving; Christians believe through faith that the bible was written by man but through the word of God. God spoke through those who wrote the bible. I think it’s self serving to pick and choose which part of the bible ” we decide” is God’s words and what isn’t. I also think it is for God to judge, and for God to decide who is sinning and who is going to hell and who isn’t. Not sinners to decide, and we are ALL sinners. As the bible says, “If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone” Sorry for my bluntness but I am offended by this email because I trust the Lord will not condem me to hell for eternity based on the fact I ate meat or drank milk. God is not superficial. God will judge me on whether or not I lived my life as a Christian, accepting that Jesus is my Lord and savior who died for my sins, whether I was a person of good character, whether I witnessed to others. People commit sins everday, cussing is a sin, drinking in excess is a sin, divorcing for any reason other than adultry is a sin, gambling is a sin etc. so, should emails be sent to every person who has said a cuss word telling them they are spending eternity in hell? I say leave the day of judgement to God, He doesn’t need any help. I hope you will not be offended but allow me to have the opportunity to express my beliefs also.

You may eat any animal that has a split hoof divided in two and that chews chud. Exodus 13:15 The Lord killed every firstborn in Egypt, both man and animal.
Exodus 20:24 Make an altar on earth for me and sacrafice on it your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, your sheep, goats and cattle. Whereever I cause my name to be honored, I will come to you and bless you.
Leviticus 7:16 If his offering is the result of a vow or is a free will offering, the sacrifice shall be eaten on the day he offers it.

Note: In the Bible, words having to do with killing significantly outnumber words having to do with love.
GE 3:1-7, 22-24 God allows Adam and Eve to be deceived by the Serpent (the craftiest of all of God’s wild creatures). They eat of the “Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil,” thereby incurring death for themselves and all of mankind for ever after. God prevents them from regaining eternal life, by placing a guard around the “Tree of Eternal Life.” (Note: God could have done the same for the “Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil” in the first place and would thereby have prevented the Fall of man, the necessity for Salvation, the Crucifixion of Jesus, etc.)

Maybe people should learn their Bible. Though the decision ultimately lies with oneself and whether or not to allow pain, suffering, and an agonizing death be part of your diet, or go vegan and let each meal become an act of Compassion…

Heart attacks, strokes, and diabetes are number one illnesses of human beings because it is an ABOMINATION before the God to eat flesh, to gorge upon organs and of blood. IT IS UNCLEAN TO EAT DEAD FLESH! Yea-when one consumes the fruits of suffering, shall bring it upon themselves.

Thank you, Luke, this is an excellent post. I have never understood why people who self-servingly interpret the Bible to endorse cruelty against animals ignore the ideal of Eden – I find it utterly baffling.

I’m vegan because I find eating blood and guts barbaric and disgusting and proves how sickeningly SAVAGE the human race is. Yes animals eat meat-but we are SUPPOSED to be above the animals – people who say “we eat meat because animals do” simply affirms they are calling themselves animals. Yes people are another species of ape, which happens to be made of meat too (real life cannibals testified human meat looks, smells, cooks and TASTES no different than pork), but people also have CHOICES and I choose not to eat corpses and road kill. That’s SICK.
I’m vegan not to save the animals, but simply because it SICK to eat dead bodies. That’s SO WRONG and PERVERTED!

high five you guys, you are so right, there is also the gnostic religion who were veggies,( the essenes,) jesus was a part of this group, they believed eating meat was a sin and it was forbidden, and if any of you guys have read Conversations with god, by neale donald walsh, theres also a reference to eating meat and how disgusting it is!! ive christian family members who eat meat and when i question them about it, they say god give man dominion over the earth….(these guys need to see into a slaughter house), also they believe animals have no souls as in genesis it says god breathed life into man and no other creatue….. , silly i know, they also pick and choose what they believe in, this god on paper hates women and is a fascist !!!! i dont thnk for a minute i would want to give my life and faith to a being like that!!
being a vegan is the most compassionate way of life, wake up you people, your eating something sentient that wanted to live!!!!

We were created to be vegan as Genesis 1 states.
We were to have dominion over God’s creation which meant to rule over them as God rules over us – with care and mercy. This commission was given before sin entered the world.
We have neglected to care and protect God’s creatures and have allowed greed and lies to enter our churches saying that we can do as we want with God’s creatures and that their meat, eggs and milk are even good for us.
While it is not a sin to eat whatever (since it goes through our digestive system and not our hearts); it is the reason why we eat. Numbers 11 says that because the Israelites wanted meat, they died while the quail meat was still in their mouths and they were buried in the graves of greed.
1 Cor. 10:31-33 says that whatever we eat or drink, it should give glory to God and I like the Rom 14:20 passage that coinsides with this.
Animals are waiting for us to set them free from corruption (see Ro 8:19-22).
We will be held accountable for them as Hebrews 4:13 states.
We really need to change our ways.

Stacey, that was totally an awsome response. So cool that I printed it. If everyone were like you the world would be a better place and I hope you see this. I believe in God. There would be no order in this world without one but no God of mine would say it is ok to treat animals like we do when we don’t need to eat meat for any reason now days. Not my God. No way, no how. The Bible may be partially right, but it was written by men and nobody can tell me any God in his right mind would condone the cruelty the animals endure. It is as rediculous as stoning middle eastern women for marrying for love or flying planes into buildings in the name of Allah and expecting 72 sex slave virgins in the afterlife. Man has some wacky ideas and it is not all about himself.
