If Hell Really Does Exist Most Humans In The World Probably End Up There!

Blanca, I believe it is murder for humans and animals as well. There exists this double standard because humans make the laws, and being greedy, selfish, and ruthless, among other descriptors, we make the laws to fit us, not all living beings.

The most telling part to me about human behavior is two fold, concerning our treatment of animals. First, there is what we consider to be food for us. Secondly, is how we treat in mass, the animals that as a society we care the most about. Let me explain each a little more.

First, we are herbivores, that’s the dirty BIG secret, that the flesh industry spends billions on to insist that we are omnivores, with a big slant towards being carnivores. Our digestive systems are just like plant eating animals in the wild. Our teeth, our jaws, everything points to being plant eaters (herbivores). Nothing about us physically suggests we are carnivores (flesh eaters). We don’t have the very sharp teeth, are jaws have the capability of crushing (mushing) our food with it’s side to side motion and we have mostly flat teeth to do that crushing with. We have digestive enzymes in our mouth to start the digestive process while the food is still in our mouths. Carnivores have very sharp teeth with jaws that can only go up and down, not side to side as well, such as an a herbivore. They have no digestive enyzmes to start breaking down the food in their mouth, because they tear flesh off a body and swallow it whole, so there is no need for digestion to begin in the mouth. One can go through the entire digestive process of of all three types, and there will be these notable differences all along the way.

Secondly, and briefly I mentioned how we treat our most beloved animals. Those are primarily cats and dogs. However, even though we claim ( and many think this way, as do I ), that they are part of the family, nearly 15 million cats and dogs are killed every year in this country for crimes such as: Not being wanted, chewing on a shoe, losing their “puppy, kitten” personalites and cuteness. Breed specific legilation that condemns all dogs that have a certain “look” about them, never taking into account their temperment, only what they look like, and many times are mis-identified. We continue to “breed” on purpose, while more and more animals die horrible deaths at shelters – heartstick, gas cambers, decompression chambers, shooting, and others in out of the way places, while the most compassionate and hopefully the most used is by IV injections of a sedative to make the animal nearly unconscience or completely so, before injecting a lethal dose of a poison. It is hoped will kill the animal with little or no trauma. We can only hope so. Let me be clear the shelters are only doing what society demands of them, (true, some are more compassionate than others) because as a whole society won’t administer proper care for animals in our charge, many of us see them as disposable, and perhaps the biggest reason for this ever continuing cycle of more and more animals being born with no hope of ever seeing their first birthday is the refusal and/or ignorance about the huge importance of spaying and neutering the animals entrusted to them (charges), so there won’t be so many animals born that are destined to die as babies, and many other reasons far too numerous to go into here.
