Want to write to Congress? Please follow these steps, but Congress.org changed its options, you need to register in order to use the service of sending your representatives one message to be received by all, then follow the steps below.

You must be registered with Congress.org to write your lawmakers. If you already are a registered member of the site, please sign in. If not, you can register for free here.

1. Visit congress.org/communicate
2. Input zipcode to the far right under Get Involved, Find your lawmakers, tell them what you think
(Enter your address below, select GO, if page indicates “Split Legislative Districts”)
3. Write to your Federal or State elected officials with one click, or just go to the individual pages linked below.”
4. Mouse over and select “federal”
5. See your four officials: two senators, one rep, and President Obama
6. Write statement in Subject area (which is below the four officials)
7. Select whatever you feel is appropriate under “Issue”
8. Write letter in Editable Text; it will turn up “red” if lengthy.
9. Enter your personal information below that in Sender Information; your personal information will already be there, however, if you already use this site.
10. Click Send Message at bottom, and letter will be sent to your four officials. (Additional information may be required if you either did not populate a requisite area or as per requested from certain Sens or Reps, you may also request your letter be published on the site.)
