Mercy For Animals presents Farm to Fridge. Narrated by Oscar-nominee James Cromwell, this powerful film takes viewers on an eye-opening exploration behind the closed doors of the nation’s largest industrial farms, hatcheries, and slaughter plants — revealing the often-unseen journey that animals make from Farm to Fridge.

how sad it is that
people view other
beings as a commodity
and that those of us who
do not,
are seen as an oddity.
but truth be told,
we are not weird or
strange, because
we find destroying animal
lives to be
deranged.
it is not too late,
to change your eating
habits,
humane eating info is out
there,
just get up and grab it!

Great job, Florence, I am so proud of you! Don’t get frustrated, that can ruin anyone’s chances at veganism. I go with what I know is vegan rather than readreadread labels, which can be really frustrating. As for the guides on Our Compass, many of them, including the one above, indicate vegetarian, but they really are vegan. I think groups do that because vegetarianism is a common terms whereas vegan is not so much, so I think they do that to garner more interest in what is known rather than what is not known. Good luck, sweetie, and ask if you ever have questions!
