Based in South Florida, Primate Products, Inc. (PPI) is a vile company that imprisons, breeds, mutilates, and sells monkeys for experimentation in U.S. labs. Aside from providing the vivisection industry with live captive animals, PPI is also a key supplier of primate restraint devices and “bioproducts” (i.e. blood, organs, tissue samples, etc).
Primate Products’ executives and personnel have built their entire careers on the misery of countless innocent animals, but not without help. The company currently maintains a close business alliance with Indianapolis-based Harlan Laboratories. Given their grim financial outlook and shortage of willing business partners, PPI is largely reliant on Harlan’s continued support to remain in operation.

To Whom It Concerns,
I was disappointed to learn that Harlan Laboratories does business with the notorious Primate Products, Inc., a Florida-based company with a record of shoddy animal care and reckless decisions that have led to animal suffering. There have been a number of serious incidents that suggest serious problems at Primate Products:
– In July 2009, Primate Products dumped close to 100 owl monkeys that they could not sell at a roadside zoo in Homestead, Florida. Within a week, at least 25 of the monkeys were dead!
– In 2010, disturbing photographs surfaced of monkeys inside Primate Products suffering from horrible wounds and crude surgical mutilations.
– In April 2011, Primate Products was cited by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for leaving monkeys who were still under anesthesia in an enclosure without supervision, and in the hot sun.
Your business with Primate Products is no secret. Poor employee morale at Primate Products has made the company leakier than an old rusty bucket!
Please, do the right thing and permanently sever your ties with Primate Products.

Easy. Copy & paste the recipients into your ‘Send To’ box. You don’t have to paste them individually, but can send them as a full block by copying all of the names at the same time then pasting them into your ‘Send To’ box. Type a heading into your Subject Line (mine was simply ‘Primate Products’); then either write your own letter or copy & paste the letter which is there already. Viola! Hopefully.

in this day & age there are other options that can be explored rather than breeding primates or any other living creatures to be butchered & brutalizsed in labs.
animals were created to live in harmony with humans NOT as objects that humans can use & abused when they see fit.

Isn’t Harlan the company that breeds beagle dogs for vivisection? I’m confused here; is this a different Harlan that’s not in the vivisection business that we’re being asked to email?

You can make more money by being conscious, selling products that are environmentally safe, that do not hurt any living being. Please think hard on this, consider the options.
My father always told me, don’t do things that will come back to haunt you on your deathbed. This is one of those things. You have a choice, a choice of using awareness and thought, to sell conscious products. Be the new thing, get a patent, start a legacy.

Why is nobody addressing the point I brought up about Harlan being in the “lab beagle” business? Why are people appealing to nonexistent “conscience” at Harlan? What good will writing a bunch of vivisectionists about another bunch of them do?
