Please write Wolff Public Relations to urge INTERMIX to stop selling fur: Sample Letter
FROM Fur Free Los Angeles
We’ve had our INTERMIX: Please Stop Selling Fur campaign going on for several months now. Not only has INTERMIX continued to ignore us, but they’ve continued to flaunt their sale of fur. Perhaps INTERMIX is under the assumption that if they continue to ignore us, that we’ll just go away. They could not be more wrong…
If INTERMIX wants to continue selling fur and contribute to the barbaric fur trade, then we’re going to have to make this campaign even louder. The Fur Free Los Angeles team is currently meeting with other animal rights organizations to tag team on this campaign, but if INTERMIX’s actions have showed us anything, our free free message cannot come just from our side.
I’d like to introduce Wolff Public Relations. INTERMIX is one of their clients, and I think we should all politely remind them that fur is dead! In an interview with one of INTERMIX’s top fur “designers”, Adrienne Landau, Lauren Wolff writes,
“We Canadians love a good fur, and nobody does it quite like Adrienne Landau. To keep stylishly warm in cooler months, we suggest topping off with this designer’s signature furs in fox, rabbit and mink.” … Heartless! Disgusting!
I don’t think Wolff Public Relations understands that not only is fur horrifyingly cruel, but it’s bad for PR. I highly suggest contacting Wolff PR and write them to urge INTERMIX to go Fur free. INTERMIX should stop carrying Adrienne Landau’s Cruela DeVille coats and start selling faux!
Please write them and urge INTERMIX to go fur free!
Intermix: Please Go Fur Free!
WHOM TO CONTACT
To Whom It Concerns,
I am shocked to discover that Wolff Public Relations supports the fur industry via INTERMIX clientele. Due to the savage business of fur, any products derived from the suffering and killing of animals should be rejected, and I am respectfully requesting that until INTERMIX discontinues profiting off the exploitation of animals including dropping Adrienne Landau fur products, Wolff Public Relations sever ties with them.
Please watch the undercover footage of the industry promoted: animals are forced to endure deplorable conditions including living in cramped, feces-crusted cages; suffering from sickness and disease; lacking an enriching environment; and being subjected to substandard diets and severe psychological trauma. They are then butchered via anal electrocution, gassing, skinning alive, and forced trauma.
Regrettably, as long as you unnecessarily and selfishly capitalize on the mutilation, torture, and death of animals, I will not financially support you or your associated clients including Intermix and Adrienne Landau . Furthermore, I will share this information with family, friends, colleagues, and members of online communities. INTERMIX, why not act on principle and become a company that promotes compassion fashion? You can create very stylish clothing and accessories using synthetic materials.
Please make both the ethical and responsible decision to discontinue your commercial support of fur immediately: join an increasing body of compassionate businesses and designers who are listening to a concerned and attentive consumer population who refuse to be complicit in the inherently malicious industry of fur farming. I hope this letter finds you willing to scrutinize your own involvement and desire to protect, rather than harm, animals.
Thank you for taking the time to read this important message.
